The Fairways and Greens store located in State College offers individual lessons. They also have a former PGA Tour professional on staff to help with any questions and tips.

Freestone offers many instructional opportunities with their professional staff. They offer any kind of lesson for the first-timer on the course to the seasoned competitor. They will tailor their programs to fit the needs of their students. In 2007 they began offering a new cutting edge "Easy Golf" program and video lessons. The Sinking Valley Country Club offers lessons from it's professional golf staff. Lessons cost: $35.00 per half Hour or $50.00 per half hour with video. Call the Pro Shop to schedule a lesson.

The Phlipsburg Elks Lodge and Country Club has a Golf Professional on site and provides several levels of instruction. Lessons cost $35 for a 45 - 60 minute lesson or a series of 3 lessons for $90. Lessons are available for both members and the general public. Please call the Pro Shop at (814) 342-1114 to make an appointment. Special requests taken for group, husband & wife etc. Lessons cover whatever the student wants to learn, chipping, putting, driver, irons etc.

The Blair County Golf and Driving Range facility offers lessons with two (2) PGA professionals. Call the facility for rates and times.
